FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County officials continue monitoring winter weather impacts across the area.
County Operations Update
County offices, the Court system, and County-operated warming centers will open at 12 p.m. (noon) on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
The Board of Commissioners rescheduled Regular Meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 2 p.m. in Room 118 of the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse.
Winter Weather Update
While many primary roads have improved, rural roads remain icy and hazardous in some areas. County officials urge residents to limit travel as much as possible and to use caution if travel is necessary. Cold temperatures are expected to continue, increasing the risk of black ice, especially during overnight and early morning hours.
Sheltering and Warming Centers
White Flag shelters and warming centers will continue operating with the following schedule adjustments to support individuals in need during ongoing cold weather conditions. Emergency transportation to shelters will remain available as long as road conditions allow.

Public Safety Reminders
Although road conditions have improved, extreme cold persists, creating continued risk for residents without adequate heat. County Emergency Services continues monitoring conditions and will provide updates as needed through official County communication channels.
